Forward Tyler Hansbrough, who helped lead North Carolina to the NCAA championship, was among those who worked out Wednesday for the Trail Blazers in advance of next week's NBA draft.
Hansbrough, the 2008 college player of the year, joined UCLA guard Darren Collison and a group of other players who showcased their skills at the team's Tualatin practice facility.
The Trail Blazers have the 24th overall pick in the first round of the draft on June 25.
Hansbrough's four-year career with the Tar Heels was highlighted by an ACC-record 2,872 points and a school-record 1,219 rebounds. He made a national record 982 free throws.
Hansbrough told reporters he wasn't concerned with speculation over where he might go in the draft. He has been projected to go anywhere from early in the first round to some point in the second round.
"I think there's a lot of people out there and you just never know what can happen on draft night, a lot of teams may trade or move up or down or whatever,"
he said.
