Fox has averaged 43.8 wins per season in his 11 years at UNC. The Asheville native captured his 1000career victory earlier this season.
Fox has taken UNC to three straight appearances in the College World Series. To my recollection, Williams has been spotted by ESPN cameras in Omaha, Neb., each time.
The Tar Heels are playing their first season in a newly-renovated Boshamer Stadium, which was completely sold out for this past weekend's sweep of ACC powerhouse Miami.
Boshamer is not the house that Fox built. He just fills it.
